Our Mission
Under "Mission Legal Aid And Awareness Foundation", legal awareness and assistance will
be provided, in which people will be informed about their rights, laws and
government schemes. Under this mission, free legal aid will be provided to the
poor and weaker sections on nominal expense, and awareness will be spread
for this through various means. The mission includes activities like organising,
awareness camps and use of media to enable people to get justice and equality.
Main objectives of the mission
Spreading Legal Literacy: To educate people about their legal rights and
duties so that they can recognize the injustice done to them.
Empowering the weaker sections: To spread awareness about the
rights of women, children, SC/ST, persons with disabilities and other vulnerable
groups in particular.
Providing legal aid: Providing free legal aid and advice to people who are
poor or cannot afford to pay for legal proceedings.
Medium for Awareness: Using seminars, camps, street plays, print and
digital media to spread legal awareness.
Enhancing Access to Justice: To resolve matters amicably through Lok
Adalats and promote alternative dispute resolution mechanisms.
Capacity building: To train existing grassroots workers and volunteers so that
they can effectively help in their communities.
